Curious about finance, the environment, and sport.

I like understanding how the things I care about actually work, and once in a while that turns into a project. Here are a few, including one I'm building now.

Finance

The finance course I wish I'd had

Good financial education is oddly hard to find for free, so I made a self-paced one and put everything I was learning into it.

  • 60 lessons and a 100+ term glossary across personal finance, investing, economics, and AI literacy.
  • An AI study coach that answers questions and reads documents, with guardrails so it cites sources instead of guessing.
  • Designed, built, and deployed the whole thing myself.

The environment

A field guide for real wildlife

I wanted spotting animals to feel like collecting them, but grounded in real science rather than made-up data.

  • Photograph an animal, identify it, and add it to your own digital field guide.
  • Names, photos, and conservation status pulled from trusted databases like NOAA and GBIF.
  • Product, design, and engineering, all solo.

Sport

Recruiting for the athletes nobody scouts

Smaller sports get passed over in recruiting and NIL, and I wanted the athletes in them to have a way to be found.

  • Athletes post clips, stats, and grades to build a profile colleges can actually discover.
  • A marketplace connecting overlooked talent with programs building out teams and NIL deals.

A survival toolkit for small businesses

The project I'm building right now: a practical toolkit for owners trying to keep a small business afloat when money and time are tight.

  • Pulls the numbers, checks, and playbooks an owner actually needs into one place.
  • Designed to make hard calls clearer when a business is under pressure.

About

I am an Economics student at the University of Michigan. My curiosity tends to run toward finance, the environment, and sport, and I like getting into a subject far enough to make something useful out of it.

The professional version of that is marketing and analytics. Across four early-stage teams I have run performance analysis on the Google marketing stack, driven acquisition and outreach, and used AI tools to move faster. The projects above are where the same curiosity shows up on my own time.

I am especially drawn to consulting. Moving between unrelated problems, finding the signal in the data, and handing someone a decision they can act on is the part of my work I keep coming back to.
